ASA VS ASA National…..the story from a man who knows….Mickey Martin

From: axisoflovesf – January 1, 1970

Hi Richard et all… You bring up many sincere and reasonable concerns. I think both ASAsteph and ASAsteele should be transperant with and educate their supporters regarding this legal battle but even far more important their policy platform’s and the distinct nearly opposite policy directions. Becuase a donor to ASAsteph supports restrictive permitting and put donors money towards measure D which forced the closure by coerced monopolygovernment relations of 700 Collectives and limited patients safe acess choices and affordablity. Supporting ASAsteph has our money in support of assembly and state senate bills which seat ABC as lead agency over medical cannabis and a pay to play Colorado model’s which price out mid size compassionate cultivators and retial operators and small providers will disappear. Supporting ASAsteele is the direct opposite our going against restrictive permitting and supporting a fair public hearing process for permits and that aplicatiions be judged on their merits and true comunity benefit. That patients accesschoices and affordablity are protected against forced monolopys and that we can grow our own. I would hate for anyone to give their hard earned money that beleives in fair policy to the wrong ASA I would not give my last two cents to ASAsteph&Don after their support of terrible patientworkers sacrilege in LA and their unwillingness to stand against ABC for medical cannabis in our statehouseseven though they also agreed it was bad policy not leadership in my book. Both of us deserve to have our funds go where we agree with the policy direction. And while the comunityindustry is in transition we deserve to know what policy are being funded with our moneys becuase the two ASA are completely going in different directions. I respect your skeptical and need to verification that ASAsteele is raising funds towards two state voter ballots for 2014 One that letita pepper & lanatte Davies are behind the Jack herrer peice and the other sponsored by Dege & savecannabis crew called MCLR both of the ballots have backing by women I trust women who’ve put their names forward for what they beleive in I honor that And I am at this point willing to beleive Steele that he is supporting these efforts but I am sure that Steele will be able to directly provide you with the accurate information regarding contributions to these efforts he is accessible and accountable to advocates inquirys. Regarding membership here’s what I have to say to everyone both ASAsteph & ASAsteele. It’s not the size of the wave that matters It’s the moition in the ocean…LOL Claiming to big the one voice or the loudest doesn’t mean crap It’s hallow and shallow. Show me how your truly looking out for us all not cornering the market for clients but establish equity and access freedoms. Richard if your stating any organization that I’m on the board of is supporting claims of Don Duncan murdering donna Lambert daughter as fact I’m not in support of that and will vote against any defamatory accusations towards anyone’s being regardless and on the Principe. I agree with Donna on these points restrictive permits and targeting of local patient advocates who questioned how deep Don & Steph devotion to patients weighed compared to wealthy clients interest. I’m worried and have never known how to address her acusation of Don being involved in the disappearence and murder of her child and that the timing of it corresponds with her being in some type of investigate of Duncan’s lobbying. It’s alarming all around. I don’t think Don whose also a parent would be capable of murder. This toxicity is overwhelming. I will not support the defamatory of anyone’s character on the Principe. I am only on PAN board if anything of this nature is posted as fact I will demand its removing thanks for alerting me. I’m having my first face to face meetup with Steele this month to discuss a national policy plan that’s inclusive of patients living in poverty. However although I’m informed by my life expriences growing up poor in Americamy skills are not limited to and my policy and actvism over the last decade has positive impact on all castes and class of our industrycomunity from the homeless patient to the middle class merchant I’ve done and organized court support for the patient busted at the park to world known cultivators. Thank you sincerely for the recogition of my work in equity in healthcare but I’ve more than demostrated It’s not the only skill set or concern I bring to the table. I organize for the righteous whatever their status position or caste. And have the unique gift of being true freinds with many different cannabis comunitys and work to bring us all together for the better . Peace to you Richard your heart is always in the right place even when we don’t see eye to eye. I will share my thoughts and feelings after my meetup with Steele to you. Andrew I cried in front of a Sonoma County courtroom full of prospective jurors while thanking them all for their service I told them a small bit about Samuel and was interrupted by the judge who said that I did not need to share my opinions.
